Youth of our parish are invited to an overnight lock-in at St. Francis de Sales Parish. The donation is $5 for pizza and drinks. It is from Friday, August 17 at 8PM through Saturday morning at 7AM. The St. Ann Bowling League will be starting its season on 9/5/2018 and will conclude on 4/10/2019 (30 weeks). The League bowls each Wednesday afternoon beginning at 1PM at the Millsboro Bowling Lanes. The League currently consists of approximately 20 teams of 5 bowlers each. It is a mixed league of men and women, generally over 55 years of age. Bowlers of all skill levels are welcome. It is an afternoon of friendly competition and socializing. Membership is open and not limited to parishioners of St. Ann. It is a non-sanctioned league, thereby keeping the weekly fees down to $13.00. The season ends with a fun-filled bowling banquet and awards ceremony, If you are interested in joining, you are welcome to attend the annual preseason organizational meeting, being held on Wednesday, August 22nd in Delaney Hall at 10AM. On Friday, September 21st, the St. Ann Men’s Club will be holding its annual Charity Golf Tournament at The Salt Pond.  Men and women are invited to play.  Best Ball-Capt’s choice, Foursomes welcome.  Check-in time is 7:45am and tee off is at 8:30am.  The nominal cost of $75.00 includes Tournament play, cart, lunch, beer soda and wonderful prizes.  (Salt Pond members pay only $55.00)  Or simply come for a nice lunch for $16.00.  Checks are payable to St. Ann Men’s Club and payment must be received before September 15th.  For reservations contact Dick Malone at 302-537-2267 or richard.malone@mchsi.com or mail your payment to Dick Malone, 440 Canal Way W, Bethany Beach DE  19930.The 6th annual VIC(Very Important Charities) Dance is scheduled for Friday night, October 12th, in the Marriott Ocean Suites on the boardwalk in Bethany Beach from 6 to 11PM.  Only 89 tickets will be sold.  Ticket price is $100 a couple and includes dinner.  The net proceeds will go to the St. Ann Sodality Book Project, the St. Vincent de Paul Society and a Rise Against Hunger project.  For ticket information, please call Joe Lane at 302-537-2060.The Parish of St. Ann will lead its third Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City from November 28th through December 1st. Our Pastor, Fr. Klevence, will be our spiritual leader and join us on the trip. This four-day three-night Pilgrimage will leave from one of the following airports (whichever has the lowest fare): Baltimore Washington International or Philadelphia International Airport. Accommodations will include lodging at a four-star hotel and breakfast and lunch every day. Approximate cost is $1500 per person (gratuities not included). The final cost will depend on the number of travelers and airfare. Questions?
