Grief and Bereavement

Grief and Bereavement sessions for 2019-2020 will resume in September, 2019 on Wednesdays in the Parish’s Masterson Center from 9:30am to 11am on the following dates:
September – 4, 18
October – 2, 16, 30
November– 13, 27
December – 4,11, 26(?)
January 2020 – 8, 22

The Parish of St. Ann in conjunction with USO Delaware is again collecting “Items for the Troops” from September 5th through October 8th.  Please bring donated items to Delaney Hall, Monday through Friday from 9am to 2pm.  Suggested items include: individually packaged snacks, paper towels, bottled water, 13-gallon kitchen garbage bags, gallon-size Zip-Lock freezer bags and male and female personal hygiene items.

There are 2 seatings – 2pm to 4pm / 5pm to 7pm in Delaney Hall.
Tickets 27.50 per person/Children ages 12 and under are $10 per
Offerings include: 1-1/4 lb lobster, clams, corn on the cob, potato salad, dessert, beer, soft drinks, and water.  Children’s menu available and includes hot dogs.

The St. Ann Men’s Club is sponsoring an All-U-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast/Brunch on Sunday, September 29th from 8AM to 12:30PM in Delaney HallOn the menu are pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, fruit cup, breakfast beverages and more!  All Parishioners are invited!  Pay at the door:  Adults – $6,  Under 16Eat Free

Only a few tickets remain for the 7th Annual VIC (Very Important Charities) Dance scheduled for Friday night, October 11th in the Marriott Ocean Suites on the Bethany Beach Boardwalk from 6pm to 10pm.  The net proceeds will go to the St. Ann Sodality Book Project, the St. Vincent de Paul Society and a Rise Against Hunger project that will provide 15,000 meals to children in need around the world.  In addition to great live music for dancing,  there will be beer, wine, soda, door prizes and a 1 in 90 chance to win $1000, and the ticket includes dinner for two!  Only 89 tickets will be sold.  Ticket price is $100 per couple(including dinner).  For ticket information, please call Joe Lane at 302-537-2060.
