Parish Affiliated Programs


AA: This group meets on Wednesday nights at 7 PM and on Friday nights at 8 PM in Delaney Hall.  It is a support group for those recovering from an alcohol addiction. For additional information, please call 302-537-7740.

Alanon: This group meets on Thursday mornings in the Masterson Center Room 6 from 10 to 11 AM. Please call 518-248-2379 for further information.

AARP Tax Aide Program: AARP Tax Aide program offers free tax preparation for both Federal and State tax returns. Volunteers e-file returns that fall within the scope of the program. Appointments for tax preparation are made by calling 302-858-3575 at advertised time. Watch the parish bulletin for program start up after the first of the year.

Blood Mobile: It is held in Delaney Hall on the campus of the Church of St. Ann in Bethany Beach. Please check the bulletin and monthly calendar for details.

Casa San Francisco: Volunteers are needed to assist in many areas like delivering food  and answering the telephone. For additional information, please contact Jo Richardson 302-539-3543 (

Delaware Hospice: Volunteers receive training to help in home care, office jobs and fundraising. Call Pat Duchesne at 302-539-1774 for additional information.

La Esperanza: It is located in the Hispanic Center of Georgetown, Delaware. Volunteers are needed to assist  in many areas including educational programs, fundraisers, and special events. Please call 302-854-9262 for details.

CHEER Coastal Leisure Center: It is located on Cedar Neck Road in Ocean View.   Volunteers are needed to assist in the kitchen, to work at the reception desk and to deliver meals on wheels.  For additional information, contact Yolanda Gallego at 302-539-2671.

Right-to-Life: In the Parish of St. Ann, Right-to-Life is involved in many activities. On January 22nd, a group attends the March for Life in Washington, DC. Twice a year, members “quietly” demonstrate for Life on Route 1. On Mother’s Day, they sell roses for Delaware Birthright. In October, Right-to-Life month, members hold a baby shower for new mothers and mothers-to-be in need. VIP (Visually Impaired People) Group: The VIP Group cordially invites new members/volunteers to serve as readers and drivers.  Meetings are held Wednesday afternoons from 1 to 3 PM in the Conference Room of the Masterson Center.  They will not meet during the months of July and August.
